Welcome to Be True Healing - Meet Laura Preskin

Laura is a LCSW-trained psychotherapist with over 1,000 hours of  ”one-on- one “ experience helping adults struggling with anxiety, depression, complex PTSD and critical life changes. 

Laura works with adults and one of her specialties is helping parents who have very challenging children. 

Through a holistic approach, Laura provides clients with strategies and tools to reclaim their serenity and confidence. 

Laura uses an integrated approach from an array of modalities, including: mindfulness, somatic movement, dream analysis, herb formulas, and journaling.  She combines these modalities with her therapeutic work experience as a licensed social worker to provide counseling and mentoring.  

In recent years, Laura has journeyed through the jungles and mountains of Costa Rica and Peru, where she studied and trained with wise shamanic healers.  These experiences propelled her to layer in herbalism and psychedelic integration into her practice as well. 

Laura loves to see people evolve to be their true self, heal and find passion in what they do.
